Throughout lockdown many spoke about how quickly the British public got back their ‘Blitz Spirit’ and community that we had begun to lose in our new fast paced digital world. Despite the fact we were all separated we worked together to help the most vulnerable in society, and nearly 1 million people volunteered to be NHS responders. A great way to keep that community spirit going is through sport. Sport has always had the power to bring people together, and whilst we can’t play sport indoors, outdoor sport surfaces have been a lifeline for many.
